That depends on the location, the year, the school, and what type of nursing program. They range from reasonable to very expensive. The average cost is about $6-8K for an associate's degree. This includes tuition and the cost of books/materials for classroom work, clinical hours at hospitals or other facilities, supplies needed during clinical hours (gowns, stethoscope), time spent shadowing registered nurses in various capacities to get firsthand experience with hospital or facility procedures(shadowing can be up to 400 hrs), etcetera.
